FAQ concerning the Woerthersee Card - short summary
HOW DO I GET THE WÖRTHERSEE CARD?
If you have booked your holidays in one of the about 90 member hotels and guest houses, you will get your card immediately on your arrival together with your room key. Without asking for it and without paying for it!
OR You can buy the card in all the tourist office in the region of Lake Wörthersee
Price for 1 week:
Euro 40.00 for adults (April - June 30th, from September 1st)
Euro 45.00 for adults (July 1st to August 31st)
Euro 20.00 for children (born between 1998 and 2006) (from April to October)
Price for 2 weeks:
Euro 48.00 for adults (April - June 30th, from September 1st)
Euro 53.00 for adults (July 1st to August 31st)
Euro 24.00 for children (born between 1998 and 2006) (from April to October)
WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE WÖRTHERSEE CARD?
Whatever you want! Walking, sightseeing, swimming, taking part in animation programs – everything is included, no extra costs. Even public transportation such as buses or trains can be used all over Carinthia at reduced prices of up to 50 %. On certain leisure time and sports activities you will get a reduction of 30 %. All the detailed information you will find in a separate Wörthersee brochure which your hosts have provided for you. Don’t forget to have a closer look!
IS THERE A WÖRHTERSEE CARD FOR CHILDREN AS WELL?
Of course there is one! Our young guests do get the card with all these great treats as well. Kids are entitled to the same benefits as adults. Those born from 1997 to 2005 get the children’s Card. Younger ones, born in or after 2007, have generally free admission to all sights.

WHAT IS THE CARD WORTH?
The Card is worth a few hundred Euros, from that moment on where you use it for the first time, which will be recorded by an electronic system. Therefore, we suggest – be careful and look after it well!
