Techelsberg is famous for its woodcarvers, as well as for its traditional way of life. A number of delightful wayside shrines are characteristic of the region around Techelsberg. The most important is the Tschahonig Cross, 8 metres high and the largest wayside shrine in Carinthia.

As a guest, you can enjoy the surrounding nature on cycle and hiking tours, letting the children run freely and making use of all the watery delights of the nearby lake or the idyllic situated Forstsee.
