Museum für Quellenkultur

Eine Geheimtipp für Kunstinteressierte: hier wird Quellen-Kultur zur Kunst. Das Museum für Quellenkultur im Talmuseum Lachitzhof zeigt eine Zusammenschau historischer Kulturgüter der Norischen Region und der Arbeiten des Konzeptkünstlers Werner Hofmeister.

Der Künstler setzt die Sammlung des Talmuseums in ein Verhältnis zu seinen Arbeiten und schafft damit über die herkömmliche Interpretationsweise hinaus neue Verstehensmöglichkeiten.
Die MuseumsbesucherInnen werden in dieses Spiel von Spiegeln und Gespiegeltem verwickelt.

Robert Musil Literaturmuseum

Das RML befindet sich im Geburtshaus des österreichischen Dichters von Weltrang und Klassikers der Moderne Robert Musil (1880–1942).

Das Literaturmuseum zeigt ständige Ausstellungen zu Robert Musil, Ingeborg Bachmann und Christine Lavant (Dokumentationen, Fotografien, Manuskripte, Bibliothek mit Werken).
In der angeschlossenen Literaturlounge zeigt das Museum verschiedene Ausstellungen zur zeitgenössischen Kunst und Literatur.

MMKK - Museum Moderner Kunst

Das MMKK (Museum Moderner Kunst Kärnten) versteht sich als Ort der aktiven Auseinandersetzung mit moderner und zeitgenössischer Kunst. Im Zentrum von Klagenfurt angesiedelt, verbinden sich hier reizvoll historisches Ambiente mit der Vermittlung moderner Bildender Kunst. Es werden sowohl junge als auch bereits etablierte nationale und internationale Positionen in Einzel- und Themenausstellungen vorgestellt. Die barocke Burgkapelle steht zusätzlich für experimentelle künstlerische Installationen zur Verfügung.
