Opening of the art installation - following the opening with artist talk: concert by Elektro Guzzi

In a temporary art installation, Hannes Zebedin works with soil samples from historically significant locations in the Alpine-Adriatic region.

From clay sourced from ten sites associated with events surrounding World War II, a small guardhouse in rammed earth construction is created. Each visible layer represents a location and makes history readable in the material. The walk-in house resembles observation posts and functions as a symbolic observation point: it "watches over" the present and reminds us to recognize dangerous political developments.
