Passion, jealousy, cruelty, and murder unfold in a gripping mix of theater and music.
The world-famous melodies from Bizet's opera resound in sophisticated arrangements by Tscho Theissing, played by only three outstanding musicians. While the music remains fundamentally familiar, it allows for frequent excursions into the present.
With texts by Kristine Tornquist and a high-profile ensemble, Carmen is experienced anew, pure, and close to life.
