The Austrian sculptor, graphic artist, and media artist Hans Kupelwieser is regarded as one of the most significant multimedia artists of his generation. His works encompass a wide range – from experimental photograms to sculptures and spatial installations.

Kupelwieser works with a variety of materials such as paper, metal, plastic, concrete, rubber, or glass, and consciously transcends genre boundaries. At the center of his artistic processes is the exploration of technical possibilities and the play with material alienation. At the same time, he addresses questions of perception and space, often with architectural reference.
The exhibition provides a fascinating insight into a body of work that consistently mediates between art form, technique, and spatial experience.
