Hannes Rader Fantastic stage world
The stage designs and figurines by Hannes Rader are artistic creations that have lasting value beyond the occasion of furnishing a work for the stage. They are two-dimensional impressions that are further developed into fantastic stage spaces. Hannes Rader, who was born in Linz and lives in Klagenfurt, is a student of Caspar Neher, Bertolt Brecht's congenial stage designer. Since 1963 he has been working at important theatres in Europe. Among other things, he has also worked with Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Wiener Festwochen
