The stage designs and figurines by Hannes Rader are artistic creations that have lasting value beyond the occasion of furnishing a work for the stage. They are two-dimensional impressions that are further developed into fantastic stage spaces. Hannes Rader, who was born in Linz and lives in Klagenfurt, is a student of Caspar Neher, Bertolt Brecht's congenial stage designer. Since 1963 he has been working at important theatres in Europe.
