Künstlerführung: Kunstinstallation: Wachhäuschen von Hannes Zebedin

As part of the supporting program for the installation “Wachhäuschen” , the Lendhauer association invites you to a guided tour with Hannes Zebedin on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lendhafen Klagenfurt.

In a temporary art installation, Hannes Zebedin works with soil samples from historically significant sites in the Alpine-Adriatic region.

Using clay from ten locations associated with events surrounding World War II, a small watchhouse in rammed earth construction is created. Each visible layer represents a site and makes history legible in the material. The walk-in house resembles watch posts and serves as a symbolic observation point: it “guards” the present and warns of the need to recognize dangerous political developments.

Admission is free.

The tour takes place in all weather conditions.
