• Pörtschach besticht durch seine prachtvollen Villen und stilvollen Seehäuser. Vor allem schätzen die Gäste die zwei Kilometer lange Seepromenade, den türkisblauen See mit Trinkwasserqualität und das milde Klima.

My poem is my face – Poetry by Srečko Kosovel

A literary-musical evening for the 100th anniversary of Srečko Kosovel's death

The evening is dedicated to the poetry of Srečko Kosovel, one of the most significant Slovenian avant-garde poets. His poems tell of the Karst, social change, and the loss of interpersonal relationships. His KONS poems are considered highlights of the avant-garde, blending elements of surrealism and Dadaism.

The program is designed to be bilingual. The German translations are by Ludwig Hartinger, Erwin Köstler, and Jozej Strutz. The music connects the individual sections of the poems and adds additional moods and accents to the texts.

Dietmar Pickl (reading)
Martin Sadounik (accordion)
