The IDO Street Dance European Championships 2026 are among the largest and most significant urban dance sports events in Europe.
From June 1 to June 7, 2026, the Klagenfurt Fair will become the international meeting point of the street dance scene. On over 12,000 m² of event space in three exhibition halls, more than 4,500 dancers from over 30 nations will gather, accompanied by around 2,500 fans, coaches, media representatives, and officials.
The event will focus on two official European Championships of the International Dance Organization (IDO):

IDO European Hip Hop Championships
IDO European Breaking & Battles Championships

These two title competitions form the centerpiece of the IDO Street Dance European Championships and bring the best hip-hop and breaking dancers in Europe to Klagenfurt.
The program will be complemented by other international competitions:

IDO European Popping Championships
IDO European Caribbean Dances Championships (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue)
IDO World Latin Show & Caribbean Show Championships

In numerous solo, duo, team, and formation competitions, the best dancers in Europe will compete against each other in various age groups – from Children and Juniors to Adults and Adults 2. Over several days, preliminary rounds, semifinals, and major final shows will take place. A special highlight will be the spectacular breaking and hip-hop battles, which will create an exciting atmosphere and feature international top performances.

The event is far more than a sporting competition: it is an international festival of urban youth, dance, and music culture. Hip hop, breaking, and popping have represented creativity, expression, style, and community for decades – enhanced by the diversity and dynamism of complementary dance styles.
