The Messiah - Oratorium in 3 Teilen

Georg Friedrich Handel's world-famous oratorio The Messiah resounds in the Maria Saaler Cathedral.

In three parts, the touching story of the prophecy, birth, passion, and resurrection of Christ unfolds – impressively interpreted by the Venice Monteverdi Academy and the Orchestra Lorenzo da Ponte under the direction of Roberto Zarpellon.

The magnificent cathedral provides the perfect acoustic and atmospheric backdrop for Handel's moving music, which has been among the most significant works of sacred music for centuries. A major musical event for lovers of sacred music.
