The church of Maria Rain is the third largest place of worship in Carinthia. Hollenburg Castle, which towers mightily over the Ferlach Reservoir, is one of the most important castle complexes in Carinthia. With its 54-meter drop, the Wildenstein Waterfall is the highest free-falling waterfall in Europe. Ferlach, the main town in the Rosental, is the southernmost town in Austria and is known as a gunsmith town. After several floods, work began in 1966 to regulate the Drava River. Power plants were built and with them reservoirs such as the Ferlach reservoir. Last but not least, the Drau cycle path is very popular with cyclists. Even without long climbs, this tour is not to be underestimated. But before that, a real effort awaits. From Ebenthal it goes with over 15%, partly in hairpin bends, up to Saberda. This climb should not be underestimated.
