Schwimmender Adventkranz in der Engelstadt
A sea of lights on the lake.
With its 80,000 lights and a diameter of 35 m, the FLOATING ADVENT WREATH is the widely visible landmark of the Velden Advent. Its glow illuminates the dark winter nights until January 6th and brings warmth to the hearts of Velden visitors. On each of the four Advent Sundays, an additional candle is lit. On the Sunday before Christmas, the display of lights becomes an impressive overall artwork.
Our tip: During a boat trip you can admire the floating Advent wreath up close.
