The indescribable forest landscape can be enjoyed on the longer, demanding Engstler Forstsee loop. From the viewing area up the ascending path, cross the road, continue on soft forest floor, briefly along the road and back into the forest (connection from Velden) around the Forstsee, at 5.7 km short way (5 minutes) to the viewing terrace with fantastic panoramic view possible. Past the Römerstein with a final steep climb back to the start.
The Forstsee is a popular nudist bathing place in the summer months!
