Public Viewing for the FIFA World Cup 2026
at the Main Square Ferlach
Sports City Ferlach will broadcast 45 matches over 33 game days – Main sponsor Posojilnica Bank makes a communal football festival possible
After the great success of the public viewing during the 2024 European Championship, the Ferlach main square will once again be the meeting point for football fans in the summer of 2026. Sports City Ferlach, in collaboration with main sponsor and partner Posojilnica Bank, will host public viewing for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
From June 11 to July 19, 2026, a total of 45 matches will be broadcast at the main square over 33 game days. All matches starting between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. will be shown, and on weekends, matches starting until 11:00 p.m. will also be included.
A special highlight from Austria's perspective is the group match against Argentina on June 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Additionally, the first match of the Austrian national team against Jordan on June 17, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. will be broadcast. If Austria reaches the knockout phase, further matches of the national team will naturally be shown at the main square.
The catering at the main square will again be provided by the Ferlach sports clubs. Participating are ATUS Ferlach, DSG Ferlach, SC Ferlach, FTV Ferlach, WSG Kestag Ferlach, ESV Ferlach, HC Ferlach, SG Carnica and ER Dollich. Each game day will be managed by a club.
