"Rasland" - circular route

The landscape ranges from imposing river landscapes and fertile cultivated land to hidden Alpine pastures. In the Middle Ages, these terraces were called "lawns". This explains the names of the local Rasburgen castles and also gives the "Rasland - Rundweg" trail its name.

Starting from Tallach, you hike over the "Rosenbacher Schweiz" to Schlatten, past one of the ruins of the Rasburg castle and down to St. Jakob. The trail leads upstream along the eastern side of the Rosenbach stream back to the starting point in Tallach.
