Coming from Klagenfurt to Maria Rain to the pilgrimage church
Attention: The end point of the tour is not the same as the starting point
From Klagenfurt, take the S-Bahn or the Kärntner Linien bus to Maria Rain/Bahnhof.
Return from Ferlach by bus and S-Bahn to Klagenfurt.
Parking spaces at Maria Rain cemetery
From the Maria Rain pilgrimage church, the route leads down to the former Kirschnerhof inn and along the R7 cycle path to the birth chapel of Bishop Paulitsch on the Sattnitzhang. Back, further downhill via the Ressnig power station and then eastwards, the path leads to the next stop, the old plague cemetery in Tratten. From here you can already see the church tower of Glainach, the next stop on the pilgrims' trail. The path leads via Tratten and Otrouza to Unterferlach 27, to the former Ogris general store. Station 6 is in the immediate vicinity: Unterferlach 23, Haus Rabitsch vulgo Haliez. At the end of the path is the Bishop Paulitsch Chapel in Unterferlach.
