From Rosental to Radsberg

We start from the parking lot at Ferlach Castle and cycle leisurely downstream along the 5* Drau cycle path to the Rottensteiner bridge. From here it's soon uphill, quite moderate at first, then it gets more strenuous. Electric assistance is certainly not a disadvantage. Further we roll along the Sattnitzplateau, until then again a crispy rise takes place. In Maria Rain, a detour to the Kaiserhütte viewpoint also pays off. Via the R7 Loiblradweg we pedal down to the Ressnig power station and back to the starting point. Don't miss: the view from the paraglider launch site on the Radsberg.

From Ferlach take the Drau cycle path in the direction of St. Margareten, continue over the bridge to Rottenstein and Mieger. Here turn left onto the Radsberg. Via Tutzach and Göltschach along the main road to Maria Rain. Here past the pilgrimage church and via the Loiblradweg to Ressnig and back to the starting point.
