18th Veldener New Year's Swim – refreshing into the new year

With a brave jump into Lake Wörthersee, Velden will again spectacularly start the new year in 2027! The 18th Veldener New Year's Swim at Seestrand Villa Bulfon is a unique winter event for active individuals, spectators, and those who uphold New Year's traditions.

On January 1st at 12:00 p.m., a maximum of 100 swimmers will dare to make the joint wave start into the cold water – optionally on a long or short swimming route. Already from 10:30 a.m., registration, a show program with Joschi Peharz, the festive New Year’s blessing, and a press reception will create an atmospheric lead-up to the event.

Registration is available online until December 28th at www.s-a-w.at or on-site on the day of the event.

A spectacular New Year's event at Lake Wörthersee, which combines courage, community, and pure joy of life – a highlight for guests and locals alike.
