And if you take a boat across the turquoise-blue water in the cool morning to the starting points of the daily stages, the special magic inherent in the Wörthersee circular hiking trail is revealed to you in its entirety.
Due to the climatically favorable location of Lake Wörthersee, the route can often be hiked for a whole ten months. When winter still has a firm grip on the alpine regions of Austria in March, you can already take a stroll along the Wörthersee circular hiking trail. In Carinthia's "Indian summer", the golden light of autumn leaves not the slightest shadow on the hiking soul until late November.
