To kick off the year of remembrance 2025 – Year of Remembrance, we cordially invite you on a journey to the year 1945 – to where everything ended and simultaneously began anew.

Two women meet in the year 1945. One returns from the camp, the other escapes from the revenge of the victors. One speaks only Slovenian, the other only German. Two languages. Two fates. One common history. This encounter – full of pain, doubt, and humanity – aims not to explain, but to remember. It invites reflection – in a time when the “Never again” is tested daily.

The production is one of the 15 selected projects of the initiative of the Carinthian Cultural Committee in collaboration with the Cultural Department of the State of Carinthia.
