World premiere of OLIVER VOLLMANN, a production of the Klagenfurt Ensemble
During the lockdown in November 2020, Nadine Zeintl from the Cultural Department of the State of Carinthia received a cultural scholarship for the development of a play on the theme of 'the systemic relevance of theatre'. The working title was: 'Oh, dear Augustin'.
At that time, she and Oliver Vollmann, who is responsible for the text, were already engaged in improvisational work on the subject.
In June 2024, the play will be publicly presented for the first time as a production of the 'Klagenfurt Ensemble'.
HIS PLAYING is a declaration of love for the theatre. That music and dance also play a central role is a given, considering the incredible diversity of Nadine Zeintl's artistic expression.
