The Women's Run Velden is an annual, joyful running festival for sporty women of all ages. At the beginning of May, Lake Wörthersee already radiates its charming and unmistakable Mediterranean flair. The best time to organize a great running event.



Women's Run Velden

This running event is one of the biggest in spring in Carinthia. Because every year about 1000 women take part. They run four rounds á 1,26 km in the center of Velden, results in a 5 km long distance.

The event takes place for the benefit of the Pink Ribbon campaign. For each kilometer run, € 1,- goes to the campaign for women affected by breast cancer in Carinthia. A great cause!
