Musikforum Klagenfurt: Arachne – Synesthetic Project

ARACHNE is a musical theater piece about female connection, rituals, and transformation. Inspired by the ancient myth of the weaver Arachne, the performers weave music, movement, and installation into an imaginary celebration. A network of wool embraces the stage and the audience, creating a space for sisterhood, connection, and resistance.
Influenced by traditional music and dances from four cultures (Croatian, Serbian, Austrian, Brazilian), ARACHNE tells its story without a libretto – solely through sound, body, and song. A ritual, a festival, a multi-voiced celebration of freedom.
Premiere 2024, Into The Open Festival Berlin.
