Doctor Faust (dis)pairs, having sought knowledge and wisdom his whole life, yet despite all of this, does not feel that he has truly accomplished anything, or even knows what really matters in life. He curses reason and science, when the devilishly attractive Mephistopheles crosses his path and offers to satisfy his hunger for knowledge and experience. In return, Faust promises him his soul. He becomes enchanted and excited, rejuvenated and in love, but by no means more serene and composed … 

After numerous guest performances in Vienna, Germany, and Switzerland, the captivating combination of visual and puppet theater by Nikolaus Habjan offers all Goethe enthusiasts, curious minds, classical fans, and friends of reinterpretation another opportunity to confront the really big questions alongside Faust (Daniel Doujenis) and the destructive game of Mephisto (Manuela Linshalm) – all out for Gretchen.
