Master Class Komposition mit Jan Müller-Wieland

The composer Jan Müller-Wieland is one of the most versatile and productive voices in contemporary music. His works – ranging from large stage works to orchestral compositions and delicate chamber music – are performed internationally by renowned soloists and ensembles. As a Composer in Residence , he has been a guest at the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, the Beaux Arts Trio, and the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra in Moscow, among others. Since 2007, he has been a professor of composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München.

 

About the Masterclass
This exclusive masterclass is aimed at composers who wish to deepen, reflect on, and further develop their work in exchange with one of the most significant composers of our time.
The focus is on group instruction, which will address central themes of composition, work analysis, as well as questions of musical form, dramaturgy, and sound design.
