Sustainability, tradition & enjoyment at Shoafbauer followed by "Literature at the Farm": Franzobel

Dive into the world of sustainable agriculture and enjoy and shop for culinary lamb specialties on site. Shoafbauer Thomas Koch - a trained caregiver - has dedicated himself to sheep farming after a career change and has transformed the family’s part-time farm into one of the largest sustainably operated sheep breeding farms in Carinthia. Animal welfare, conscious handling of products, and the preservation of old sheep breeds are at the center of his actions. At the farm festival, he provides insights into his work and invites you to enjoy. Afterwards, the award-winning author Franzobel will read from his current novel "100 Wörter für Schnee” - a literary conclusion in a rural atmosphere.
