Lecture on Art: MARY, the Mother of Jesus – between Projection and Reality

The ever-present beautiful Virgin Mary – an image that has profoundly influenced the entire history of European culture for centuries. Eva Puschautz, a theologian at the University of Vienna, closely examines what undiscovered or neglected roles lie behind the lovely-silent Mother of God, thus shaping the ideal of womanhood to the present day. A feminist perspective on the roles of Mary.
