From Zell via Kobounikalm and Mejnik to Koschutahaus

From the mountaineering village on the Kobla, along the toll road to the former military shelter. Then march left on the forest road to the Kobounikalm. Here either return via the forest road and via the toll road to the Koschutahaus or slightly uphill across the alpine meadows to the saddle, there climb over a gate and immediately afterwards follow a steep path somewhat hidden to the summit of Mejnik. Cross the summit in a southerly direction and follow the marked trail down to the Koschutahaus. From there take the toll road back to the starting point.

Parking lot AlpinCenter Zell-Sele and at the Alpengasthof Malle
Directions
From the parking lot at the AlpinCenter / Alpengasthof Malle, follow the country road westwards for a short distance, then turn left along a cart track, along the edge of the forest to the last houses on the "Kobla. Continue on the toll gravel road until shortly after the military shelter and the small huts. Follow the forest road to the left as far as the Kobounikalm. Climb up here without a path to the highest point, over the fence. Cross the forest road that leads up from the Koschuta valley and follow the well-trodden paths into the forest to the summit of Mejnik (1517 m). Cross the Mejnik to the south and stay on the ridge until you reach the Panoramaweg Südalpen. At this crossroads, descend to the right and in just under 20 minutes to the Koschutahaus.
The way back is via the toll gravel road to the starting point.
