Description
The approximately 140-hectare Hörfeldmoor is home to an impressive variety of plants and animals. This unique natural area is home to around 500 butterfly species, 125 bird species, and more than 50 rare plant species.

Starting from the Emmi-Antes-Steig, the approximately three-hour hike takes you through forests and across meadows around the idyllic moorland. The route is about 5 kilometers long and overcomes nearly 100 meters in elevation. The pure walking time is about two hours.

The tour is also suitable for families with children aged six and older, but it is not stroller or wheelchair accessible.

Meeting point: 9 AM at the Emmi-Antes-Steig – Hörfeldmoor
(shortly after the Carinthia/Styria state border, parking available)
