Kunstfilmtage im Lendhafen

Since 2014, the Art Film Days transform the Klagenfurt Lendhafen into an open-air cinema for two evenings. Artistic film positions from Austria and the countries of former Yugoslavia are presented – where film art and public space meet. As walkers pass through the harbor, cyclists cross the Elisabethsteg, and the sounds of the city become part of the atmosphere, the works unfold a special effect between concentration and chance.

On September 10 and 11, 2026, starting at 8:00 p.m. each evening, curator Fritz Hock and curator Martina Tritthart will present films by Katharina Gruzei, Ivana and Thomas Volda, as well as Zarja Menart. Following the screenings, discussions with the filmmakers will take place.

Admission is free.
