Orchestral Concert: Wuxi Symphony Orchestra

Under the direction of its chief conductor, the Chinese Wuxi (city with about 7 million inhabitants) Symphony Orchestra will transform the Congress Center Pörtschach into a concert hall and create a bridge from Verdi and Brahms to the latest Chinese orchestral music, which is very pleasing to the ear. At the center of the concert is the great first symphony by Johannes Brahms op. 68, which he completed in 1876, just before his first summer in Pörtschach.
