Day bus trip: Ljubljana - the green capital of Slovenia
Ljubljana (Laibach), with 293,000 inhabitants, is known for its green spaces, including the expansive Tivoli Park. The banks of the Ljubljanica River, which winds through the city and separates the old town from the modern business center, are lined with cafés featuring outdoor terraces. Ljubljana has numerous museums, including the National Museum of Slovenia with its historical exhibitions and the Museum of Modern Art showcasing Slovenian paintings and sculptures from the 20th century.
