To the wishing tree on the Kathreinkogel

Because the 772m high Kathreinkogel is not only a place steeped in history with settlements dating back to the Neolithic Age. On its top you can also find Austria's only wishing tree, where visitors write their small and big wishes on wooden tablets and hang them on the tree. From the former inn Kreuzwirt the tour leads in about 1 hour to the Kathreinkogel. In autumn, the meadows exposed to the south are still very green for a long time and make you feel a little melancholy about the past summer.
