In Reifnitz you can take a break at the Gasthaus St. Anna or in summer directly at the lake at Hotel Sille. Strengthened, you can then make your way up again in the direction of the Spintikteiche - one of the bigger climbs on the circular trail, for which you will be rewarded at the end with a wonderful swim in one of the idyllically situated ponds.
Once you have made the following ascent to the Schrotkogel, you hike down to Klagenfurt on a narrow, wildly romantic path through a small gorge with enchanted rocks and mysterious, giant beech trees. Shortly after leaving the forest, a wonderful view of the provincial capital opens up. Now it is not far to the Wörthersee East Bay with its colorful hustle and bustle along the Lendkanal and the popular restaurants Maria Loretto and Villa Lido. The high-quality culinary and epicurean offerings are just one of the many distinguishing features of the Wörthersee hiking region from alpine destinations.

Opposite the boat landing, follow the blue-white-blue markings of the Wörthersee circular hiking trail. Slightly uphill through the forest you reach the Spintikteichen. The Spintikteiche are a nature reserve at 610 m above sea level with healing moor, away from settlements and not accessible by motor vehicles. The trail continues in the direction of Schrottkogel past a wonderful viewpoint. Along the Glanfurt and the Lendkanal you reach the lido Klagenfurt and the Europark of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. Back to Reifnitz you go by boat.
