Just behind the youth hostel in Neckheimgasse in Klagenfurt, the pilgrim crosses Villacherstraße and now follows Tarviser Straße, which runs parallel to the Lendkanal, to the right, heading east. Before reaching the city center of Klagenfurt, turn left at St. John's Church into Lerchenfeldstrasse, follow it north to Aichelburg-Labia-Strasse and continue to Feldkirchnerstraße. Follow this street out of town until you reach Mageregg Castle. Here you walk along the bike path in a large arc to the right in Mageregger Straße for about 400 m to the east and, after crossing the Glan River at a bridge, immediately turn left into Milesistraße and continue your pilgrimage parallel to the Glan River along the bike path to Karnburg and from there continue in the direction of Maria Saal. Shortly before Maria Saal you leave the bike path to the right, cross the old federal road and go via Ratzendorf and the Seiserweg uphill to the pilgrimage church of Maria Saal.
