The Carinthian Open-Air Museum Maria Saal invites you to the workshop "Washing Clothes Like in the Old Days."

Visitors will experience firsthand how laborious laundry care was before the invention of the washing machine – using a washboard, brush, and natural cleaning agents.
Whether vigorous scrubbing, wringing out, or sharing stories about old washing rituals: Participation is explicitly encouraged!

The dirty laundry is ready – now muscle power and curiosity are required. A lively insight into the everyday culture of bygone times – ideal for families, school classes, and anyone who wants to experience culture up close.

Cost: Entrance fee | Children and teenagers up to 18 years free
