Silent Advent in Pörtschach am Wörthersee: Celebrate Advent on Lake Wörthersee

Experience Advent in its quietest and most atmospheric form: A very special Advent trail awaits you in Pörtschach in 2025, lovingly designed with acoustic music, warm twinkling lights and lots of little details that touch the heart.

Carinthia's first barrier-free Advent invites everyone to enjoy the pre-Christmas season in a decelerated, magical ambience. Highlights include a romantic star boat trip through the Pörtschach Bay, a living nativity scene at Landspitz and a storyteller who takes children on magical fantasy journeys around Lake Wörthersee.

Those who like it sporty can try their hand at cold bathing or Christmas tree diving. Culinary delights await during the quiet Advent with regional Christmas fish and the specially created Pörtschach mulled wine, which warms body and soul.
