The challenge of dressing Leonard Cohen's incomparable and profound folk songs in the captivating, powerful guise of Klezmer music is considerable. Clarinetist Maciej Golebiowski has already impressively demonstrated how he can revitalize the Klezmer genre with modern energy and interpretations. The Wladigeroff brothers contribute their masterful virtuosity and creativity as congenial and humorous musicians. Finally, Benjy Fox-Rosen – who is not only musically versatile but deeply rooted in the Jewish music tradition – perfectly complements the group.
