Porsche car museum
The only private Porsche museum is located in Gmünd, Carinthia, where the first vehicles named Porsche were built from 1944 to 1950.
The extensive collection includes the Porsche 356 Type 356 020 ALU, the amphibious Porsche hunting vehicle (1956), and the Porsche rally and race cars.
Another highlight is Austria's first and only police Porsche 911.
An annual new SPECIAL EXHIBITION featuring interesting factory racing cars awaits you.
A multimedia presentation about the history and designs of Porsche provides further insightful information.
There are plenty of bus and car parking spaces available right next to the museum (2-minute walk).
