Coming from Klagenfurt to Feistritz im Rosental, turn left between Billa and Gasthaus Lausegger into Bärental, follow the asphalt road for approx. 6 km, then park at the large parking lot (also used as a wood storage area).

Park in the large parking lot under the (unmanaged) Stouhütte hut

Directions

From the parking lot, walk up to the (unmanaged) Stouhütte hut and follow the 672 / 603A markings. The hiking trail leads in a few hairpin bends through the forest to the abandoned Schneider estate. Continue along the path and ascend below the daffodil meadows to a forest road. This is the highest point of the hike. Follow the forest road eastwards and in an arc past the forester's lodge and back to the starting point.
