After four glorious years, Nicholas Milton bids farewell as chief conductor of the Kärntner Sinfonieorchester.

To kick off the Gala Concert, Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony will be performed, one of the most magnificent compositions of musical Romanticism. The work leads through a compelling interplay of contrasting moods and culminates in a triumphant celebration that overcomes the power of fate itself.

In the second part of the evening, Nicholas Milton and the KSO invite you on a musical journey through special highlights of their collaborative work. Surprise pieces, brilliant sound culture, and virtuosic joy of playing make this farewell unforgettable.
