The two-part work in the Lend Canal in Klagenfurt critically engages with the theme of memory culture as part of the "Year of Remembrance 2025": A textual intervention on the wall questions the act of remembering, while in the water of the canal monuments are staged as a floating sculpture park.
The artist duo advocates for an open discourse on the theme of monuments and remembrance and wishes to invite the audience to participate.
Thus, it can be questioned what we want or should remember and what contribution lived memory culture makes to that.
