With her new album, the Norwegian singer-songwriter Rebekka Bakken returns to her roots.

“NORD is where I return to the folk hymns of my childhood, and from that tradition create something new — music that is rooted in the past, but searching for a wider horizon," says the charismatic singer, whose voice spans over three octaves . Her music is influenced by jazz and is also inspired by Scandinavian folk music in these new songs. Her strength lies in her unique ability to fully embody the different roles that her songs demand.

After spending several years in New York, Vienna, and Sweden, Rebekka Bakken is back in her native Norway. She has been awarded the Golden Record in Germany three times in a row and has received the Austrian Amadeus Award twice.
She comes together with her band to honor Klagenfurt with an unforgettable concert.
