Once a month, the shadow would conquer another territory. A foreign neighborhood, a new street. He became addicted to it. Until he saw Mia. And so, he stayed forever.

Something is wrong with Viktor, Mia senses it on their first date at the upscale restaurant on the roof of the Chancellor's Office. In the following days, strange things happen that cannot be explained by coincidence anymore. Mia's initial unease gives way to paralyzing fear. But then she decides to turn the tables. A deadly game begins.

Ivar Leon Menger, born in 1973 in Darmstadt, studied graphic design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim. He is the author and director of numerous radio play series, including "Monster 1983" and "Ghostbox," which are among the most successful productions in Germany. As an advertising copywriter and graphic designer, Menger quickly discovered his love for film, which also shapes his stories. His thriller debut "When Evil Came" was published in 2022.

Crime scene "Village Tavern". The Gasthaus Wiegele has been a multigenerational meeting place in the Villach upper villages for decades. The idyllic country inn with a long counter and large beer garden offers the perfect setting for a rural crime story. Here, farmers enjoy an after-work beer alongside office workers and local drinkers while sharing a hearty snack.
