Power. Powerlessness. Crime Night. In the morning snowstorm at the Berlin Victory Column stands an abandoned small truck. On the cargo bed, the police find a half-naked dead woman. Someone has written something in red paint on her body – the private address of the Chancellor.
At the crime scene, the inexperienced and ambitious commissioner candidate Nele Tschaikowski encounters the notorious investigator Artur Mayer. What they don't know: This is no coincidence. Shortly afterwards, videos of the dead woman appear online, and the case takes a dramatic turn.

Marc Raabe built a TV and media production company before deciding to live as an author in 2021. At that point, he began the Art Mayer series. His bestsellers are published in more than ten languages. His tools are cinematic storytelling, editing techniques, cliffhangers, and psychology. The result: a thrilling mind cinema with depth. Just like his investigator characters, Marc Raabe occasionally breaks rules.

Winemaker Gerald Neumaier exclusively opens the heavy doors to the ancient cellars of the 1000-year-old Landskron Castle for crime fans. The renowned cultural and excursion destination – known for the Eagle Arena and Monkey Mountain – transforms for one evening into the setting for a crime reading by Marc Raabe.
