“Get to know and try out various design techniques with clay. Immerse yourself in the creative atmosphere at the Art Station Wörthersee and enjoy working in a small creative group! No prior knowledge is necessary. The joy of doing is the most important thing.”

The two-part workshop with Sabine Modl Sternig (ceramic artist | creative trainer | art and design therapist) takes place over two days:

08.02.2025 – Part 1: Material and technique knowledge, creative exercises, design and surface design.
22.02.2025 – Part 2: The works are fired for the first time, introduction to glazing techniques, glazing.

“Whether unique favorite mugs, cereal bowls, light bowls, wind chimes, or garden decorations: I am happy to support the creation process with my expertise. We will work with simple, effective techniques (slab and building techniques) that yield unique, lovable works. Each piece is as special as the person who creates it. I will bring materials, tools, and plaster molds, and coffee and tea will be provided during breaks. I look forward to seeing you and your ideas!”

Closed group size max. 7 people
Cost for the two-part workshop: 2 mornings (8:30-12:30) or 2 afternoons (14:30-18:30): € 120,-
Reduced full-day rate (2 whole days): € 200,-
(excl. material costs, these amount to € 28,-/kg for twice fired glazed clay)
