Diex is considered the sunniest place in Austria with over 2000 hours of sunshine. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Carinthian lowlands. Diex is also home to Carinthia's best preserved double-tower fortified church. The church of Maria Rain is the third largest church in Carinthia. Before that, however, a real effort awaits. From Ebenthal it goes with over 15%, partly in hairpin bends, up to Saberda. This climb should not be underestimated, but it is already known from the outward journey.
